About Bees and Trees Foundation
The Bees and Trees Foundation was established in 2021. The main purpose of the Foundation is protection and development of the natural environment, education and activities aimed at rational use of natural environment resources, counteracting social exclusion, and combining democratic culture and civic engagement with ecology.

prof. student dr hab. Marek Gancarz
Prof. student dr hab. Marek Gancarz is an employee of the Agricultural University of Hugon Kołłątaj in Krakow and the Institute of Agrophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Lublin. He conducts research related to the use of new techniques and technologies in the assessment of the quality of raw materials and products of agricultural origin and chemometric analysis. The result of his research is the publication of over 40 peer-reviewed research papers with high IF and three patents and one utility model. It cooperates with domestic and foreign research centers. He completed long-term international research internships. He is a recipient of the French Government Scholarship and the INRA Research Center Scholarship in France. He participated in international research projects. He was a member of the organizing committee of the Global Summit on Nutrition & Public Health in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the International Conference on Food Processing and Technology in Paris, France. He is a member of the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology based in Riverside, Connecticut, USA.

prof. student dr hab. Eng. Urszula Malaga-Toboła
Dr. hab. Eng. Urszula Malaga-Toboła, prof. URK is an employee of the Faculty of Production Engineering and Energy of the University of Agriculture in Krakow and the Institute of Agriculture of the State University of Applied Sciences in Chełm. In his scientific and didactic activity, he deals with issues focused on the economic and organizational aspects of agricultural technology, with particular emphasis on organic farming, and on planning and organization of production and logistics processes, designing logistics systems, the impact of technique and technology on production efficiency, as well as analysis and evaluation agri-food logistics. The result of scientific and research activity is scientific achievements in the form of over 100 original works published in renowned domestic and foreign publishing houses, editing of 1 foreign monograph, as well as co-authorship of 1 industrial design, 1 utility model and 3 patents. She also completed numerous domestic and foreign didactic and scientific internships. He is a member of the Mechanical Engineering Discipline Council. She completed post-graduate studies in "Research management and commercialization of research results" and is also certified at the international PRINCE2 level. Since 2016, he has been the Vice-Dean for Teaching and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Production Engineering and Energy. He is a member of many Faculty and Rector's Committees and a member of the Senate of the University of Agriculture in Krakow. It effectively cooperates with production and logistics companies, with private entrepreneurs and secondary schools, as well as with domestic and foreign universities in Lviv, Nitra, Zvolen and Košice. For her work, she was awarded 3 times by the Rector of the UR for outstanding achievements in the didactic and organizational field, 2 times in the scientific field and the Bronze Medal for Long Service. In 2020, she was awarded the Medal of the National Education Commission.
